Calling for a national boycott of the Fox Broadcasting Company

The right-wing propaganda machine, Fox News was called out for referring to Michelle Obama as "Obama's baby mama" in a graphic displayed during a broadcast. There is a link attached to this blog titled, 'Fox News refers to Michelle Obama as 'baby mama,' please click on the link to get more details. This outrageous graphic is an obvious attempt by Fox News to mold the Obama's as too black for the white house. Babymama is a very derogatory term that is used in urban/black environments to describe a unmarried women of a man's child. The obvious connection Fox (Faux) News is trying to make between the urban streets and Barack Obama is an attempt to add fear in the minds of white people who don't fully understand the black culture. Has their attempt to mold the public opinion in this way been successful? Well that is where we come in. They may see no, little, medium, or colossal success depending on the actions taken by citizens that believe in change (to steal from the Obama mantra.)

This is not the only attempt by Fox News to spread right wing propaganda and lets not forget that Fox News put George W. Bush's cousin, John Prescott Ellis in charge of Fox News' election projections during the general election of 2000. (Real ethical!) As recently as two weeks ago, E.D. Hill was caught on air at Fox News calling Barack and Michelle's emotional fist jab embrace, a "terrorist fist jab."Liz Trotta (another associate of Fox News) was caught making light of a possible assassination of Barack Obama.

Enough is enough! I will not support another program that is associated with the Fox Broadcasting Network. Unfortunately for me that means no Simpsons and no Dr. House but I have to take an affirmative stand in my belief that this network hurts more then helps.

This blog exists to solicit your opinions on the aforementioned topics and to encourage those of you who share my outrage with Fox News to join this boycott!
